Hello nishant, read the entire post at cplash.com. But have a question regarding the title of the post. Do you consider India to be in a recession? Have we seen 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth? I think we should call it a slowdown. Your thoughts?

No.. I am not saying India is into a recession.. however the global recession is surely having its effect on India. This series of splashes is aimed at tracking the larger effect of global recession on Indian economy as a whole.

I see what your saying now, also read part 1 and part 2, I think you missed posting part 2 here. nonetheless was a nice read.
To make matters worse the garment sector is also expected to loose 1.5 million jobs by April, due to reduced exports as a result of slowdown in US and EU.
